Anke and Lenny held a joint birthday at Madingley Hall on Saturday 30th May, black tie, around 72 guests. Drinks started at 6pm on the North Lawn with a saxophonist playing and the house behind them, then everyone moved through for dinner in the Saloon. I covered the reception through to guests being seated, which is the stretch where people are standing, talking and moving about, so most of it happens without anyone being asked to pose.
