Belinda and Jon were married at St Hugh of Lincoln in Letchworth, a quiet Catholic service put together the way they wanted it. The church sits at the top of Pixmore Way facing Broadway Gardens, which meant the couple’s shots were a walk across the road rather than a drive across town.
The fountains were running, the light held, and we had the park almost to ourselves. As a Letchworth wedding photographer working across Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, I photograph the day as it happens rather than staging it around a shot list, and days like this one are the reason why.
