Yes. I keep them relaxed and quick. I'll ask for a shot list before the day so we know who's in each group and can move through them efficiently. Most group sessions take 15 to 20 minutes. The rest of the day stays documentary.
Rain doesn't stop a wedding and it doesn't stop the photography. Some of the best wedding images come from overcast or rainy days because the light is softer and more flattering. If we're planning outdoor portraits and the weather turns, I'll adapt on the day and find covered or indoor alternatives. I always have a backup plan.
I've photographed weddings across St Albans and Hertfordshire, including Sopwell House Hotel, St Michael's Manor, St Albans Cathedral, Gorhambury House, the Maltings Arts Theatre, and country houses, estates, and private venues across the surrounding countryside.
