Natural and documentary. I cover the day as it happens, capturing candid moments as they unfold. When it's time for group shots and couple portraits, I step forward and give clear, relaxed direction so everyone feels comfortable and it doesn't eat into your day. The result is a gallery that feels like your wedding, not a photoshoot.
It depends on the length of coverage, but typically 50 to 100+ per hour. You get every image that meets my standard. No filler, no duplicates, no per-image charges.
Within 7 days. Everything is professionally edited and delivered via a private online gallery. You can download, share, and print straight away.
Yes. I keep them relaxed and quick. I'll ask for a shot list before the day so we know who's in each group and can move through them efficiently. Most group sessions take 15 to 20 minutes. The rest of the day stays documentary.
Rain doesn't stop a wedding and it doesn't stop the photography. Some of the best wedding images come from overcast or rainy days because the light is softer and more flattering. If we're planning outdoor portraits and the weather turns, I'll adapt on the day and find covered or indoor alternatives. I always have a backup plan.
I've photographed weddings across St Albans and Hertfordshire, including Sopwell House Hotel, St Michael's Manor, St Albans Cathedral, Gorhambury House, the Maltings Arts Theatre, and country houses, estates, and private venues across the surrounding countryside. The historic city centre around the Clock Tower and Cathedral also provides some striking backdrops for couple sessions. If your venue isn't on this list, it's almost certainly still one I can cover.
Yes. I work with a trusted videographer who films alongside me on the day, so everything is coordinated without you needing to manage a separate team. Videography is available as an add-on from £600. Get in touch for details.
