Having started in music, playing gigs across local venues, I found my true creative calling in photography seven years ago. The immediate connection with clients, the ability to capture genuine moments, and the satisfaction of delivering valuable work has made this journey incredibly rewarding.
What started as a creative outlet has become a trusted service for events, businesses, and those looking to make memories across Cambridge and beyond.
Photography runs in my family
My grandfather Tom started a local camera shop here in Cambridge, transforming what was originally a chemist. Growing up around cameras probably planted the seed, but it took those years in music to teach me about reading moments and connecting with people.
My approach is simple: keep it natural.
Just genuine moments as they happen. You pay for my time, not per image, so you get all the best shots edited and ready to use.
What Drives My Creativity
When I’m not photographing weddings, events, or commercial projects, you’ll find me out capturing wildlife and landscapes (@howellpicturenature). It keeps my eye sharp and reminds me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. At home, my Corgi Riley has become quite the unofficial photography assistant!
While photography is my primary creative outlet, I also run ii Marketing – helping small businesses across the UK build better websites, improve their SEO, and grow their online presence.
